In the Name of the Father and of the + Son and of the Holy Ghost.
Alleluia! Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
We don’t know when sin and death overtook God’s good creation. Scripture doesn’t record when it happened, just that it happened. However, throughout the centuries theologians have speculated when it might have been. There are many who say that Satan slithered onto the scene on the first day after all was finished and God rested. That day, the first day of the world’s second week, would be Sunday. Whether or not these theologians are correct we may never know. However, if we suppose that they are, it would mean that death entered the world on a Sunday and then, in Christ, was defeated on a Sunday.
